You walk into your favorite supplement store or more commonly, pull up Google, and look at the first bottle that grabs your attention. Eye-catching label? Check. Says on the bottle it will make you bigger/stronger/faster/whatever? Check. So, what are you to do? Is this stuff legit? I cannot answer that question for you, but what I can do as a pharmacist, athlete, and long time relationship holder with the supplement industry, is point out the ingredients that get you the most bang for the buck.

Top 10 Supplements for making you bigger, faster, and stronger. In no particular order:
1. Protein Powder (pre, during, post)
2. L-Tyrosine (pre-workout)
3. Multivitamin/mineral
4. Fish oil
5. Creatine
6. Caffeine (pre-workout)
7. Vitamin D
8. ZMA
9. Vitamin C
10. Beta-Alanine (pre-workout)
Bonus: BCAA (pre, during, post)

You can buy any of these ingredients in bulk, separately, or find a combination product that has what you want in it. Be mindful of the doses in some supplements as companies will use less than adequate dosing in favor of cramming in more ingredients. Buying ingredients separately allows you to control the dose (and price).

If you need help figuring out what the right supplements are for you, stop by King’s Pharmacy or give us a call. We have prices that compete with online stores, but without the wait time and shipping charges.
